Peter L. Mello, Associate
PETER L. MELLO focuses his practice on land use and zoning, municipal law, construction law, school law and general civil litigation. Prior to joining Petrini & Associates, P.C., Mr. Mello was an associate with the Boston law firm of Kopelman and Paige, P.C., where he practiced civil litigation in cases pending in state and federal trial and appellate courts. Mr. Mello’s prior litigation experience includes handling cases posing various zoning and land use issues, actions to enforce provisions of ordinances and bylaws, wetlands disputes and construction contract disputes with sureties and other parties, among others.
Mr. Mello earned his B.A. in Politics, with a Certificate in Legal Studies from Brandeis University and is a graduate of Boston University School of Law. While at Boston University School of Law, Mr. Mello served as a staff editor of the American Journal of Law and Medicine.
Mr. Mello supplements his practice with regular attendance at meetings and events of the City Solicitors & Town Counsel Association, and serves as a staff editor of the Municipal Law Exchange, a monthly publication of the CSTCA.
Mr. Mello is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
