MICHAEL K. TERRY focuses on municipal law, land use, and general civil litigation. His legal experience includes real estate, land use and zoning matters, construction litigation representing owners and contractors, and general business disputes.

A seasoned trial attorney with 25 years experience, Mr. Terry has tried cases in the Massachusetts District, Superior, Probate and Land Courts and in the Massachusetts and New York Federal District Courts. He has extensive experience in all aspects of commercial and residential real property transactions and regularly represents municipalities and their boards, and also individual clients before municipal zoning and planning boards. He served for many years on his town’s planning board, zoning board of appeals and conservation commission.

Mr. Terry earned his B.S. in Communication (honors graduate) from Castleton University in Vermont. He is a cum laude graduate of Suffolk University Law School, where he was awarded the Cella Book Award in Administrative Law.

Mr. Terry is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. He also has been admitted pro hac vice in the State of New York. Mr. Terry is a member of the Massachusetts Municipal Lawyers Association, Norfolk County Bar Association and the Massachusetts Bar Association.
